Sometimes the best video stories can be found in your own backyard. That's what Miranda Harple discovered when she and her sisters, and their mother -- scattered throughout the world -- all decided to get "a small tattoo of an anchor, each on different places of their bodies, to symbolize the family's deep connection to sailing." The icing on the cake was when their grandmother decided to join them.
In this AARP video, the Harple clan explains their bond -- to each other and to the ocean -- and their delighted surprise at their grandmother's participation. Then we actually get to see granny get inked! Take a look:
