Kudos to the Detroit Free Press (freep.com) for winning two national Emmy Awards for video packages in news and documentary programming. The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences recognized freep.com for "40 Years of Respect," which commemorated the 40th anniversary of Aretha Franklin's hit song "Respect," and "Pit Bulls: Companions or Killers?" which examined the pros and cons 
of owning pit bulls.
